There are two types of effective intellectual sounding insults.

A. Classic words that are rarely used.

For example: "miscreant", "lout", or calling a woman a "slattern" or a "strumpet".

Those old English insults are so much more offensive because they just sound bad even if you don't know what they mean. Call a ho a scallywag. Call a dumbass a troglodyte. I called a hood rat a street urchin trollip the other day, she was confused, upset, and offended all in one insult
