we all know cosigns mean nothing. Undertaker cosigned Tensai, Austin cosigned Cesaro, Rock and Austin both cosigned Ryder. Its shytty but Vince does what he wants, at the expense of making money oddly.

He is in a better position now then when he came back from Japan, even if it is a behind-the-scenes roles

Sheamus always been a solid performer? WTF are you people talking about? He has no classic feuds, matches, or promos. He's been a flop since his initial 2009 push in ECW. He's a nobody. When he gets injured, nobody cares. When he has a so called good match, nobody cares. His promos are outright nightmares to put up with..he had HIDEOUS promos as a face. Remember when Cena was doing the poll on who to face at Summerslam 2013? He brought up Sheamus to overwhelming boos...befitting and telling of his career.

i think you're being too hard on him. in-ring wise i actually believe sheamus is a very solid performer. not the best storyteller but hey not many wrestlers today can really claim they are. at least his offense is legit, very passable as a powerhouse / brawler.

as a character he has a huge advantage just off the strength of his looks. he can't help but stand out. problem is creative really never knew what to do with him. he has no gimmick other than being irish and saying fella. when he's a face he's just an irish john cena and when he's a bad guy he's just a pro-typical chickenshyt heel.

i mean do you even remember why he became a heel again in the first place? because he was sick and tired of seeing small guys in the ring get shine. that's it. that's why sheamus is a bad guy. that was their explanation. how can they POSSIBLY expect anyone to care about this guy.

If his offense is so legit, why is no one invested in his $hit? Reminds of me Test..he would pound away and away and away and no one really gave a damn. He's had good outings against other workers of note...Bryan, Cesaro, Del Rio. But that's where the buck stops with him. Fans just don't see him as upper tier. He's a piss break cat.

I think a properly motivated feud between Roman and Sheamus would do wonders for both, especially if it's over a title. Considering Vince's insane fetish for big strong men I'm surprised this hasn't happened already actually, but then again I'm almost 100% sure that if Sheamus' MITB cash-in is successful, Roman will be the one to take the belt of him.

i would say he still gets decent reactions. the 10 punches to the outside usually garner some type of excitement and the brogue kick is usually always good for a pop. probly one of the more over finishers in the E right now, and it's pretty credible too.

but if fans aren't taking to sheamus it's probably because his character is bland and stale.

It garners the "NO" chants that started when fans turned on him when he was face and having overly long drawn out matches every week. That's nothing to brag about. The Brogue Kick is over? WTF:laugh: That move gets groans every week..the RKO gets pops, the F5 gets pops, Sasha's Bank Statement is already more over than Sheamus' Brogue kick and she JUST HIT THE main roster:laugh:

Of course his character is bland and stale..that's why he turned heel in the first place. Because fans kept chanting for Macho Man and RVD during his matches like he was a chump.

You need to realize Sheamsteady cashing in a few weeks before TMNT2 drops. He'll hold the belt for 3-4 months.
Ratings will hit 2.0 immediately if that happens...UNLESS Bryan is back in full circulation then pretty much everything will change up and down no matter what. Reactions, ratings, and everything.

They make the MITB Briefcase 24/7 rules. :jawalrus:

In a crossover episode of UPUPDWNDWN, Xavier Woods sees Sheamus walking by in the background as he E and Kofi play Street Fighter 5...

...they slowly put the controllers down and give each other the look :demonic:

E beats down Sheamus while Woods screams for a referee. New Day gets that MITB :youngsabo:

Utter fukkery ensues :blessed:

:mjlol:Kofi bustin' Sheamus upside the head with a PS4...
