YERR. first off i want to put this out there. idk how long yall been using it in NY but i remember as a preteen using it in pittsburgh in the same manner so im curious if it came down here because of family or some shyt.
this thread reminds me of a thread i meant to make days ago.

anyone that been on these hoes since the dawn really needs their roses now. the amount of cultural influence those places cultivated needs its credit.
when i hear breh, ratchet, glizzy, simp, jawn etc. used loosely and in correct especially by privleged nikkas and cacs shyt makes my soul burn slow.
are these mf really not original enough to get their own shyt poppin anymore. i used to think it was dope when cacs would have their own little sub culture slang. not just jock everything we say overnight.
edit: this is also why millenials are goat. we prob are the last generation that was able to enjoy things becoming hot and it marinates in the culture for years before some cac catches on and spreads it wrongly. Now literally everyone just be waiting to be black but not wanting to be black

Worst part isn't that they're using it. The worst part is that they run slang that's been around before most of us were born and cause it to get played out and then call it old a month later. Looking at you like you're stupid for saying something you've been saying before they'd ever met a black person. I remember everyone used to call my friend a simp in elementary school. I remember being told not to be a simp as a kid. That was the fukking 90s. Now all these people are using that shyt, getting the definition wrong, twisting it, acting like it's a new word and eventually it'll just be another part of Internet culture instead of something black people created that'll get you laughed at for using.
