Wasn't even an option to be discussed, and I wouldn't have married her if she made it an issue.

I got a co worker who's wife didn't even hyphenate, just kept her maiden name. Funny part is she works for the same company as us, and people are shocked whenever they find out they're married
Shes 100% the boss in their relationship tho, so I see how she pulled it off.

why even do that? I have heard of some women changing their middle names to their maiden name but honestly all this seems like families raising their daughters to be the sons they wish they had.
