What's the scariest video game you've played?

Dead Space 1 or Resident Evil Remake, two of my favorite games. Dead Space was INTENSE, had a lot of moments where I would physically move in my seat when something popped out at me.

Man I first played RE4 when I was 10 and that shyt had me shook playing that shyt home alone and the opening moments of bioshock

RE4 had a few moments, nothing like REmake though. Bioshock opening was crazy.

LOL @ Bioshock. I wasnt prepared for that shyt at all in the beginning. I remember the trailers had this song:

Im thinking shhiiitt this game looks DOPE. Take that ride down in the bathysphere to Rapture for the first time, that Spider splicer had me like . I remember just chillin in that shyt not opening the door for like 10 minutes just trying to look out the window

The Scarecrow scenes in Arkham Asylum had me shook. That's what sold me on the franchise.

the opening of the game when you get on the elevator had me jumping I loved this game the 2nd was a little toned down but still creepy. But at the previews for 3 that looks

First movie I thought of was Silent Hill.

Running around in the dark with that damn flashlight and hearing that siren while it was 2 o clock in the morning had my ass shook.

Running around the house in the final level knowing that the serial killer was in there with you the entire time, thinking that he would just jump you out of nowhere... I didn't want to go into the basement...

Friday the 13th for the NES. As a youngsta, loved the freddy/jason flicks...got the game for my bday...and whenever Jason would appear outta no where would scare the shyt outta me...

By the time of the Resident Evil's Silent Hill's I was desensitized.

Friday the 13th for NES(I played this with my older cousin when I first got into games) and later RE2 as kid. Dead Space is the only recent game I can think of.

A few things made RE2 more scary than Dead Space for me

1. Dead Space had people talking with you and sometimes guiding you on the com from time to time.

2. Dead Space gave you more resources and weapons than RE which cut down on some of the fear factor.

3. RE had a more limited player movement which added to the fear factor
