Like other cats been saying more water and fruits and vegetables not just raw veggies either it helps to eat cooked too.
As for skin care don't use soap when you take a shower use a face wash. I use neutrogena for men also use a face scrub about an hour before you shave or get a haircut I also use the neutrogena kind for that. After you shower and in the morning use a moisturizer I use cereve. Hope this helps breh.

Edit: getting a facial on the regular will do wonders for you too

- Genetics is #1.
- Watch your diet/ water intake
- Don't smoke
- Sweat
- Find a skincare regimen that works for you and stick to it. Buying a facial wash, toner and a good facial moisturizer (all designed for dry skin) is where I started and then I slowly added on exfoliation (using a cleansing brush), steams and clay masks.

Also, I stopped using hot water too. Has to be warm or colder to keep my skin from drying out.

your stars are but dust on my shoes
The facial products you use. Most of the shyt you find at Target, Walgreens whatever to wash your face is filled with weird ass ingredients and shyt.

I had stubborn acne that was worsening going into my senior year of high school, then I started using African black soap and Shea butter and haven't looked back since.

Keeping your PH in balance and exfoliation. A lot of people have acne because they use products that throw off their PH and don't give their skin enough time to self correct.

I didn't stop having cystic acne until I stopped us using cleansers and allowed my skin to self correct. I just use toner to cleanse my skin now.

Also had to find a way to exfoliate my skin to stop throwing off the PH. Manual exfoliating doesn't work for me. I dermablade my whole body once a week and my skin has never been better.
