The last game I bought at Gamestop was Tales of Hearts R because the physical release was exclusive there and also Tearaway Unfolded because it was on sale for $15. I don't shop at Gamestop because it's usually the most expensive way to purchase games.I decided not to support them years ago and I haven't been in one since. I cant understand how they stay in business with their awful tactics. Especially when you have plenty of alternatives.
You can digitally download games straight from your system.
You can order games from amazon
Bestbuy has a better trade in program
There are other options such as craigslist and ebay.
And even then, you still have walmart, target, etc if you want a game immediately
Am I missing something? Why do people still support them?
even the math there is a waste. I'm Elite Plus so if I buy my Switch from Best Buy I get enough points for $5 back in rewards certs (with 2.50 left over but it has to be redeemed in $5 increments) and when I use my US Bank Cash+ I get 5% cash back at electronics stores so that's a $20+ swing just to avoid Gamestop.I only get systems thereafter I preordered the switch i hit up amazon for zelda
System was sold out of pre orders at amazon/ best buy....and yeah i use my prime discount so i think zelda was like 40 bucks with prime credit cardeven the math there is a waste. Getting the Amazon store card with no Prime is 3% back so about $9 back and if you're Prime it's $15 back.
At this point I just don't see a reason to bother with Gamestop. Maybe their buy 2 get 1 free used deals but new games are so cheap I've already bought all the ones I want on release day anyway. When Gamestop has an isolated sale where an older game I skipped is way cheaper I would but other than that there are better options than shopping there.
Yep. Can't do that anywhere elsebuying old ass games for like a 2 dollars on the spot
See if you can smash one of them nerdy girls.
