Young Thug - Hercules
Big Sean's feature on Burn
2 Chainz the whole T.R.U. REALigion mixtape

Didn't understand the Future hype until this

became a huge fan after it.

For me it was the second verse on Monster.

EDIT:

Ace Hood - Trials & Tribulations

I read something where The Rock talked about listening to Meek Mill and Ace Hood when he works out, and I was like the Bugatti dude :why: Then I played his newest album in the gym and I was like :ohhh: dude really is rapping here.

For me, Missy Elliott was just there. She had a bunch of features and writing credits prior to "The Rain", but nothing clicked until that song dropped. I didn't realize that she was a part of songs that I liked as a featured artist, writer, or producer because I didn't care until that song. This was before the video dropped. It was the first time listening to a song, enjoying it, but still asking "what is this?" I sat in the car June 1997 mind boggled by what I heard.

1. Cormega’s verse on Affirmative Action made me check for The Realness and his solo albums.

I think Mega’s catalog was better than Nature’s

Nature may have had the better punchlines but Mega had the better album.

Cam'ron's first verse on Yayo Man made me a die hard fan. I liked his music before that but this song infected my brain lol

Hung 90 karots, Killa, yes I flip that white puddin,
But I swear I wish I met Dwight Gooden,
To show em that my pitch is better,
Bring Strawberry dog I be rich forever, :mjlol:

shyt, Them two nikkas coppin bricks or better,
Hit the cellular, How you want it? Whipped or regular,
And tell your white girls about my white world,
shyt, I'm a part of the reason why it's a white world

AG on “Speak Ya Peace” by Lord Finesse

Killah Priest on “Brilliantaire”

Killa Sin on “Fair, Love & War”

Roc Marciano on “Emeralds”

Nas on “It Ain’t Hard to Tell”

Louisville Slugga on “Danjer”

Daz Dillinger on “Doggy Dogg World” by Snoop

:ehh: Interesting choice.

Wish him and D.O. did more of the back and forth approach that they did on there. They worked well together without Starang having to do all the heavy lifting on most tracks.
