If it weren't for the fact that my wife and I work in technology we would move out of here. I won't give figures, but we definitely earn within the top 5-10% living out here. The property you can get is amazing. But once we have kids I'm out. No way I'm raising any Black children out here.

Damn real. I hate getting taskings up there. Guaranteed everytime I go to Tobyhanna I run across some racist cac prick.

I haven't had to too many bad experiences traveling but when I saw this thread the one place that sticks out the most is when I went to my uncle's wedding in New Albany, Mississippi. I don't know if it's any better now but this was back in like 2003. So we get to the hotel, me and my family gets checked in. I had my girlfriend at the time with me but you know as soon as me and my cousins link up after the rehearsal we looking to get some beer and alcohol. Well, my uncle informs us that New Albany is in a "dry" county. I had never heard of that before. He said we would either have to drive 20 mins in one direction or 15 mins in another direction on the highway to get some alcohol. But we couldn't be seen with it in this county.

So then my girlfriend wanted to see a movie. So I said alright so the movie "Hulk" had just came out so he told us where the movie theater was and me and her headed there while my other cousins went hunting for some alcohol. We get there and got our tickets. Them fools printed the tickets out with a dot matrix printer with the computer paper that had the holes on each side. Then the guy gets up and goes to the floor and and unhooks the velvet rope and yells loud as hell, "Now Seating the motion picture 'Hulk' starring (he looks down on a sheet) Eric Bana, Jennifer Connelly, and Sam Elliot". Now me & my girlfriend are looking at each other like :martin::usure: So after we get our popcorn and drinks, we go inside the Theater and it's like a damn dirty floor like we was in a old garage or something. No carpet and water poodles like we was under a tent at the circus. The only stairs was in the middle of the room and if you went to the very top you blocked the projector. By the time the movie was over with all the restaurants was closed and there was no fast food places, at least none that we knew of so we got on the highway to the nearest exit to get some food. The I wasn't worried about black people/white people but damn I didn't want to come back.

Momus Ct... (between Washington and 4th) Post Katrina. New Orleans. 2750 S. Galvez on google maps will show you some rocks and an "entrance"
My family home.
The block no longer exists. It's rubble.
I got really drunk last time I was in N.O... Went to go see what was left.
:mjcry:. Just another part of my childhood erased.
Same with 4th and 8th in Columbus. I shed blood on that block. Buildings demolished...cac students skateboarding.
Who yo people ?
