Hot97‘s Peter Rosenberg shared some very interesting information about J. Cole’s Born Sinner album during this morning’s segment of The Realness. According to insider knowledge, Cole has a track on his sophomore LP tentatively titled “I Disappointed Nas.” As the story goes, the Queensbridge MC reached out to Jermaine after he heard “Workout” and expressed his disappointment with the single.

Supposedly there’s a song on the J. Cole album called something along the lines of “I Disappointed Nas,” about how Nas supposedly reached out to J. Cole after he heard “Workout” and was like, “Nah, fam. I expected more from you than this.” And supposedly J. Cole gets really personal and has a whole song about how it felt to have disappointed, obviously, one of his heroes in music, Nas.

This definitely makes the June 18 album sales race more interesting, with J. Cole’s Born Sinner, Kanye West’s Yeezus and Mac Miller’s Watching Movies with the Sound Off all hitting stores that day. Who do you think will sell the most?

Watch the clip after the jump…

Why does everything that mentions an artist and isn't kissing their ass a diss

This is interesting if true. Haven't seen a concept similar to this since maybe Big Brother

I really can't wait to hear this track in particular.

If its a diss I'm pretty sure camel has something to do with it.

lol...I'm interested in hearing this.

Why do rappers get so emotional when they feel they are rejected or snubbed by Nas? :heh: Somebody had an entire thread about that topic with a long list of examples. I can't remember if it was here or on :hamster:
