a lot of white boys are getting their mma on, its going to get rough on wshh in a minute.

deep, c/s this but i got a question if you dont want to get hit you said dont even get in the ring. so how can one build a defence like floyd or even learn to be a compentent fighter, if he is shook inside.

I dont like to get hit , most people I know that box hate being hit

Ive broken my jaw in two places with titanium permanently wired into my skull

broken my nose twice

broken both hands

urinated blood for two weeks after i took some vicious body shots ....

If you are not going to actually ever compete the most you will ever get is a bloody nose or lip, no one is trying to damage you if you are just sparring

I know you wont believe me but , you get used to it and its never as bad as it seems ....... once you step in the ring and start off I guarantee you

shyt, thats deep.

if i get some spare cash would like to get 101 tutoring in a boxing gym, i could do sparing thats fine but i cant throw a fast set of effective punches. to get my full body behind a strike, this is going to sound funny but :mjlol: in my peer group i never lost an arm wrestle so i am internally strong and could/can bench a lot for my size and i started lifting young.

do you think that will make a difference the fact that internally compared to my peers you could say im strong, or this has zero effect in a fight. ive seen a lot of skinny fighters take out the bigger comp.

good looking out on the jewels :salute:

It will have zero effect until you know how to punch effectively ...... and even then its not really a top requirement

The power in a punch comes from the legs and not from the biceps , to punch properly your arms have to actually be relaxed ....

fam you wont regret it ......

the funny thing is when you start sparring its not being punched that gets to you

its the conditioning , after 2 minutes you will probably be to tired to lift your hands up

even if you never step foot in a ring , if you train properly you will have superior conditioning ......

Facts! Most of my weight comes from me having a :francis:powerful lower body.

A good punch is basically a transference of energy... It's called "inertia" iirc.

The said energy travels from your plant foot, up your body, though your arm and into your opponent.

With good hip thrust or torque behind your follow through, you can drop anybody.

What a strange thread. As long as you’re not thinking of going pro it’s never to late take up boxing. Most people whether young or old have no idea how to fight, never mind box so you put yourself at a huge advantage just by learning it.

It ain’t too late. If You mike Tyson status get some fight under your belt. Keep wining and mayb by 35 you can be champ. Far fetched but 30 ain’t that old nowadays esp if you healthy.

I would join if I were you, and at worse it’s an amazing workout and you know how to throw punches
