That's how I feel with 2.5+ hour movies. Like, I know the movie is great, amazing and GOAT status even, but damn. The real issue, for me at least, is watching a long program late into the night, especially a shytty product. Even worse is there's only a few parts/wrestlers to look out for on Raw and it's not like you know when they'll be on-screen.

some movies don't need to be that long, like the revenant, bad boys two, most Michal bay movies and tarintino movies run about 20 minutes too long on average... but atleast they are telling a story and you know its going to be a payoff. Raw is 3 hours with only about an hour of good material every week, and lets not act like the 2 hour shows were amazing.. I think the first 30 minutes should be the preshow and the last 30 minutes should be the run over and post show

I kept dozing off at the theatre during Inception and haven't watched it since It was good, just made the mistake of going to the premiere midnight showing. But yeah, at least the two hour shows from the AE and Ruthless Aggression era showcased all of the talent, not the same 8-10 guys. Same matches/spots, zero progression and payoff... I watch strictly PPVs and read up on Raw because I don't feel anything too important happens between all that time.

Same thing happened to me at the premiere in the loud ass Imax theater, then it happened again with the blu ray on my loud ass surround sound, I think it time to say that movie was overrated as fukk..

Was just talking to someone at work about this shyt......it can be a dope ass movie, but there will always be moments in there you see like " They could've left this extra shyt out and shaved off 20 minutes."

the only way I am for it is if Smackdown is live every week. some may say that's a silly complaint, but live is and will always be better and makes a difference.

even back when Smackdown was a better show on paper with Heyman, Edge, Jeff Hardy, etc.. it still never had the same vibe as Raw did and that is 100% because it was a taped show.

Exactly, if there's a B show then everyone on the B brand looks second rate. Smackdown has to be boosted up again, nothing happens on that show anymore

they really dont need a brand split right now. just get rid of that 3rd hour of raw.

now if they continue signing up all these stars from other promotions, then yes, they are going to have to bring back the split brands. cuz you cant run a monopoly if the talent is unhappy and has one foot out the door.

NXT is presented as a minor league. not an equal brand.

NXT is good because it's its own thing with its own bookers. And there's probably groups in the WWE higher ups that want it to fail and Trips' crew who wants it to succeed, which makes Trips and co work hard to make it good. Raw needs an enemy to be good. When WCW was a nonfactor, Raw sucked balls. Jobber matches, taped episodes, etc. When the nWo came out they had to actually try, and we got the glory days

wcw was pulling better ratings than the wwf for years before the nwo.

raw stunk for a long time even after nitro came out.

This is the main reason I would like a brand split. I used to argue that SmackDown was better than RAW. Now? It's not even 2007 ECW. I mean you'll get a good match once in a while but nothing happens on there.

It certainly kept things interesting when they first had it. Those Draft shows were fun.
It suffered when they introduced the watered down ECW (everything was horrible on that show) and for some reason, booking, wrestling, and story-lines were real weak around that time on all shows.

Draft makes no sense right now because there aren't enough major stars and people injure frequently, it'll be a disaster like it was towards the end in 2009 or so. Eddy G and Benoit were international legends, and people like Edge worked their way up. Not too many people like that in WWE right now.

Would be nice if they just cut Raw down to two hours, made NXT 2 hours, and leave smackdown as is. Make ppv's very exciting and lots of twist.

I miss the brand split and the exclusive PPVs. Felt like the storylines on both were more fleshed out and it gave Smackdown its own feel. That 2005 Smackdown vs. Raw feud was lit.

Raw will always be the A show, so a brand split creates a virtual minor league....
