He won 2 Championships as a coach....mainly because he was the MVP player/coach at the time


When he finally became a full-time coach, and wasnt directly responsible for wins/losses, it was in 1974 for Seattle.

His coaching record as a full-time coach is:

I think the fact Ewing had Dwight for all those years and him still having 1.5 posts moves coupled with the fact that when Dwight wanted to get serious about his game....he went to see Dream, hurts Pat's pedigree as a coach too.

Get the sand outta your vagina! This isn't an indictment on whether or not Ewing wasn't great! Him being a great player is what got him on the staff to begin with. It was no secret that Ewings project on that team were the big men. You think Mo Cheeks was on the Thunder bench to mold Kendrick Perkins game or be a vessel for Russell? You sound like a moron. Ewing had one task and one task only, and he didn't maximize it.
