He had a dope set. Agree that he has gotten better.
He's gotten MUCH better... Saw him Live at the Tabernacle in 07 and he RIPPED the entire show beginning to end.

I thought Nas ripped it. He does seem to sometimes forget lyrics but I don't hold it against him.
His performances also vary greatly, sometimes he's crystal clear sharp with lyrics and other times he leaves small gaps while performing songs.
I didn't even watch the video cuz I was there. The only song I remember him fckin up was One Mic and Hate Me Now. BUT Hate Me Now was over the "Deep Cover" instrumental and it was AMAZING how the whole crowd basically did One Mic Acapella, lyric for lyric.
I saw females who knew the song word for word

I've never seen a bad Nas performance and over the years I have seen him plenty of times starting from It Was Written era.

Seen him a bunch of times and hes never once been bad. Hes been great on 3 separate occasions over the years. All the westcoast posters who were at Rock The Bells around the time Untitled came out will vouche for that.

Cosign everybody in this thread. You could say he's a bad performer cuz he constantly forgets his lyrics but I've seen him a couple times and every time it was great.
Like 50% of putting on a good show is just having songs that people recognize. Then another 40% is having a good crowd...

Yeah his shows are pretty average, he doesn't sound like a AAA rapper on stage. But he survives cause he has AAA-material, while someone like Busta can perform average songs and you'll leave the spot on some

I think he's pretty good live but he still has a few clunkers here or there. Not as bad as he was in the 90s though on stage.
