As of right now, they DO NOT have a good young core

It was a two fold concern on Millsap. 1. Yes, Schlenk did not want to max him out with a 4-5 year contract, but also Schlenk didn't want to commit that type of money to Sap either. And he didn't mince words on it, he clearly said to anybody who would listen that Sap might find a better deal elsewhere.

SN: I had season tix last season, and those fukkers had the nerve to raise ticket prices for next season when it was apparent Millsap was walking and they were going to be trash. Didn't renew.

Philips is going to be even more empty for a few seasons. I'm sort of surprised the new ownership signed off on this.
