Those dudes are just trying to talk up relocating the team from Memphis to Nashville. I don't know if that is how Nashville ended up with the football team, but I do remember the Titans playing in Memphis for a while during the stadium being built in Nashville. It is only 190 miles from Memphis to Nashville, but I think Ja Morant would miss Memphis, because he is a real Memphis fool if I ever saw one and he ain't even from Memphis.

I think that's the ultimate goal. The city and state secured funding to upgrade the arena but the lease is up in 2029. I feel like they end up in Nashville and they're just laying the groundwork.
