Here's the problem: There is NO scientific consensus on the characteristics of a 'race' that would exclude some members from one or the other.

A study disproved that, children as young as 6 months old show racial bias/preference due to them only being socialized around one race, namely white children.
Black people in black spaces still have to interact with whites from that age on. The converse doesn't apply because they don't "have to" interact with us.
