Yeah, these hats are pretty corny. What is this suppose to signify?
it's just a creative expression of a logo. I thought it was a cool spin that was unique when I first saw the LA one...because for one you had to know what an A-Frame hat is. and 2, you couldn't get that shyt at lids.

some of ya'll ask to many questions about shyt that's just artistic expression lol some shyt has no purpose but to look cool/different.

I’m pretty sure Hall of Fame in LA started that around 2007 or 08. It’s supposed to symbolize a rally cap.

I know Cowboy players and fans been wearing them upside down hats for years. Former backup to Dak Ben Dinucci started the True brvnd.

I was about to say that they looked like rally caps, I've had to use them multiple times when Cleveland was in the World Series.....they ultimately didn't work though:mjcry:

And thats why i was asking. I can understand for example an Oklahoma fan wearing an upside down Texas Longhorns logo because people put the upside down horns up all the time. I just didnt/dont know where this trend started. I figured it was suppose to mean something that I am missing.

Why were they wearing Yankee jerseys?
back then sports apparel was fashion, not fandom. If you had green sneakers you matched it up with a celtics jersey. Red sneakers with a bulls jersery and so on.
After a certain point, sports apparel sort've fell out of style and people kept to simply rocking the teams they root for.
Also they make enough alternates these days even if you root for the spurs you can find a green alt jersey if you really wanted.
