I'm downloading it now. His first mixtape delivered and showed me he could be more than a one hit wonder -- so why aren't we talking about this tape? Anybody hear it? The tracklist is dope :ohhh:

Features from Gucci, Alley Boy, Danny Brown, Childish Gambino.
Production from Travis $cott, KE, Westwood, Young Chop

The budget on this, for an unestablished mixtape artist, was probably pretty damn big.

out of all the mixtapes that dropped, i liked the first 5 songs i heard. he's not a good rapper but he can make a decent record. he also meshes well with other artists. i didn't get to finish it, but since you brought it up, i'll just finish it out now while i'm in the house. i was particularly hard and critical of TJ. I still don't think he should be on, but he is. this mixtape hasn't necessarily changed my opinions about his mediocre level of talent, but it puts things into perspective about how charisma and intrigue can play a huge part in a rappers success today.

this shyt got more downloads then that jeezy tape:dwillhuh:
I'm one of the bigger Jeezy stans on this board, but to be honest, I have no interest in hearing that tape.

I don't mean to offend you cuz I see you're from Detroit, but I heard that #ItsThaWorld group EP and wasn't impressed, so I threw this one to the bushes, too. If one of Jeezy's songs gets a video, I'll probably just cop that single.

But anyway, that LiveMixtapes crowd is an interesting one.

The No. 1 searched artist is Rich Homie Quan :what: that gotta be an industry plant or something ... no way he organically got to No. 1
Chief Keef and Migos both in top five
Lil Snupe is No. 15 :why:
Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and Starlito were all the way down between 20-25
Trinidad James isn't even top 25 :wtf:

There's nothing strange about what you said, Jay, kendrick dont release mixtapes and the ppl who frequent livemixtapes/datpiff are well aware of this. Ive never searched either of those names on any of those sites and wouldnt. Rich Homie Quan's My type of Way is charting on the billboard Hot 100 currently and his success was as organic as you'll get in this day and age. He made a hot song that started buzzing around Atlanta and grew from there (obviously no unknown artist will get where he's at w/o some kind of string pulling but that doesnt make you an industry plant).

Migos has blown up since the drake feature, my man's sister and new husband came out to Versace during their wedding reception two weeks ago. Keef's fanbase is mainly online and was supposed to have a mixtape coming out the other day

Childish Gambino kills the last song and the song that said it was XXYYXX produced I thought it was going to be him rapping on a beat but it turned out to be a skit instead.
