His team sucks. Bad qb play and o line has been just as bad. Coaching is the main reason for lack of variety. They need to use him in the passing game more as well if they can't get the run going.

It's the OL. Murray, McFadden, Elliott, whoever they put behind that line produces(this is not to disparage Elliott, he is a great RB).
He's a good back but he isn't what everyone wants him to be people like Max Kellerman..
He needs a hole..

This not bout Dallas or Zeke though, but to respond to your post, McFadden had 1083yrds and 3 tds last year, Zeke already got 700yrds and 5tds through 6 games

Every running back on every team will have a whole like that every once in a while, especially if they catch the defense in a wrong formation. San Fran also has the worst rushing defense in the league.
Not every running back can do what i showed you in that gif tho
