I felt vindicated when the “smart kids” couldn’t pass the GA HS standardized graduation test. So many “smart kids” couldn’t graduate because of that test that they stopped administering it.

That's just shows you were in a failing school system. Alot of these underachieving schools will inflate kids GPAs but when they take a standardized test compared with the rest of the state, true colors come out.

High school is more memorization, while college is more application which is why a lot of people struggle with the transition.

2-something…I was a HUGE slacker…primarily my first 2 years…turned it up the last 2 years…only applied to HBCUs…about 8 and got accepted to all but one…no scholarships tho…definitely didn’t have scholarship grades lol

Anywhere between 3.0 to 3.20…I was a B student my whole life in college I dropped to a B- tho 2.78

I gravitated to whatever interested me , half heartedly digested what didn't & did enough to pass & qualify for whatever grade I was in.

I basically treated school like a low paying job & not the hustle I should have during and after that time.

I even cheated my thru drivers ed (copying my peers). Also did it in college. Im truly just not a scholastic person and ive got the memory of a hummingbird with add.


Pretty sure i scored less than 1000 on my SATs.

3 something, don't remember. I went to 3 different high schools and it's a little different the way it's scored.

Father was in military so those schools (DODDS schools) go on:
90 - 100 = A
80 - 89 = B
70 - 79 = C
60 - 69 = D
Belew 60 = F

One high school I went too was:
93 - 100 = A
84 - 92 = B
75 - 83 = C
66 - 74 = D
Belew 66 = F

something like that.

So if I got a 91 at one place it was 4.0. The same 91 at another place 3.0

I've always been curious what scale did other schools use
