I don't think people think about it further than the fact it gets under people's skin. They're not doing a sociological analysis of their insults. The fact you guys make threads about it and give them attention may encourage them to do it further because the end game is to get under your skin. It shows them its successful as a way to insult people.

I disagree with the bold. I wouldn't clown a Jew about the holocaust, for instance. There are lines.

What's bothersome about the Fatherless meme is that the insult is used against the child/poster when it's a serious problem in our community that the child/poster has no control over. I'm down for shaming and blaming deadbeats- and shytty posters, but I'll never throw salt in a black mans wound for being a victim of a tragic situation he has no control over.
