Haha! What's a "spiritual miracle"?

Okay, for example. A person has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, they do chemo and take the meds, they have family praying for their health to recover. The person goes into remission. The atheist says, '...it was because of the medicine and the chemo. God had nothing to do with it...'
I just want to go to that person

Both y'all goin to or through hell. :ld:

Is it better to believe in god(s) or live as an atheist?

If you are going to live as a good person, why not adhere to a faith?
Do you still go to hell if you are a good person but don't believe?

No thats not what im saying, im saying prayer helped the healing process. There is no one family prayed harder than the next. God's choice is His.

Why send someone to hell for using his brain the way YOU created it to work?

Depending on your religion, this isn't necessarily true.

so if i say my iphone is god, i can go to iphone heaven? it becomes real?

Again, this is your self created religion. If that's the prophecy you've been given and you believe, then I would say it's so. I wouldn't join the iphone cult because I prefer android, but to each his own.

I'd be an idiot to believe that I should adhere to a faith since I'm already being a good person, as in why not? like Pascal's Wager.

Right on. So, you don't think it's an atheist "sin" to do right but not set an example for religious folks that might be lost in the spiritual sauce? Wouldn't good atheists be a benefit to the faith?

I'm not sure what an atheist sin is but what you're proposing is Pascal's Wager, Believing in and searching for Kryptonite on the off chance that Superman exists and wants to kill you.

It's foolishness.

Then don't bother with the medicine and the chemo. Stay at home and pray it away.
