What's wrong with building muscle endurance

I was watching hodgetwins video on YouTube and they talked about how if you only work out at home you eventually won't get stronger you'll just be building endurance


Why is that a bad thing?

Its not...depending on what your goals are...

If pure strength is your goal then its simply force production...

So you need apply the overload principle to constantly drive neuromuscular adaptation...

add weight to the bar....

fukk those fudge packers though...

Isn't that better than max strength in 99% of situations?

I mean it depends...

Training for max strength also causes structural adaptation...not just muscle but non-contractile tissue too...

Its also critical for power production (Speed - Strength).

I have been training for muscular endurance and it looks like I'm finally getting the physique that I want. I do the same compound lifts but I do 5 sets of an exercise at the same weight until I can do 20 reps for each set. I then increase the weight by 5 pounds and repeat the process...


When I was moreso strength training, I kept tweaking my joints and I don't want to fukk myself up.
