Why are they making shows like this depressing garbage that came on today called "Getting On"?

Sick of all these wack ass shows. Now HBO want their own equivalent of nurse jackie (another irritating one from showtime).

I agree, what was that show Enlightment starring that sad ass annoying white chick... I hated that show.

It kind of is an anthology. It's supposed to focus on different cases with different detectives each season if I'm not mistaken.

maybe they need to get in to the comic book genre and bring action weekly series of marvel or dc comic book characters.

The only upcoming HBO show besides True Detectives that I am looking forward to is the reimagining of the old movie Westworld that is being produced by JJ Abrams.

You would think HBO would have at least one DC or Vertigo or even Wildstorm series on the air since they are all owned by Warner Brothers.

Yeah that's what I think too. Saw this on wiki. Take it with a grain of salt but it's pretty much in line with what I've read before.

I wish How to Make it in america didnt get cancelled but it lacked a lot of substance and tried to be cooler than it should have been.
