whats wrong with playing games for 6+ hours?

If you playing games for 6+ hours per day you probably dont have a life

I just done see how someone with a significant other, kids, and/or friends can have that much time to play video games everyday

Say someone works a reg 9 to 5, get's back to the crib around 5:30 or 6. They get on the game at 6 and don't get off til midnight. Rinse and repeat... only thing they do is game and eat after work. It's possible, but yeah they probably don't have a life outside of gaming, or gaming is their only form of entertainment.

If you watch TV, sports, workout, have a lady, other interests or hobbies etc, there's no way you can game on the reg for that long each day with a full time job.

say... how many countries and continents have you been to because my passport looking crazy? I travel the world, have fun, and basically live my life probably even fuller than you live yours, a lot of the time I play for 6hours its with friends.
I don't want kids, so im void from that

how is it you have time to go to work for 6hours, yet I shouldn't have time to play games for the same amount of time?

the longest ive ever put in a day was Mass Effect 2.(best game ive ever played) i put in around 14hrs in a 24hr span. the only reason that was possible was because i was laid off at the time

I don't know.. I used to do it as a youngn all the time. Matter of fact I couldn't wait for the weekend so I could stay up all night and watch tv and play video games.. it was something I used to look forward to.

With that said though, if you're older and doing this you had better have something concrete to show for it. If all of this is going toward one or two titles you had better be pro or pro-am skill level. Or you had better be writing some solid reviews on these games and posting them on the net. My logic being that if this time is spent doing anything else you'll likely have something to show for it... this should be no different.

ive seen in threads people saying all sorts like if you play games for over 6hours you have no sex, the logic isn't even accurate with that. also heard if you play games for 6hours you live with your mother.

so if you watch movies for 6hours, go exercise for 6hours, just be out everyday at mall etc for 6hours is that just as bad?

6 hours? That's ridiculous.

Back when I was single and was going to school and it was Christmas vacation, I would play a game for 10+ hours. No life or anything. All I was focusing on was going to the next level in the game.

I work 8 hours and sleep 6 so that only leaves me with 10 hours left in my day

No way in hell im spending 6 of those 10 hours playing games

Actually, I'm just kidding around. People can do whatever they want to. I know people with full-time jobs who spend 3+ hours on the weekday evenings and over 14+ hours on Saturday and Sunday playing WoW. I'm like, "No wonder you are single".
So it's like, yeah, do whatever you want to do, but I'm going to give you a dirty look when you tell me you keep a pee jar next to your computer desk.

Yo I wish I had the time to play all the games my dumb ass keeps buying, got so much to finish and they dropping new shyt, so all the piff I missed on both PS3/Xbox gonna be cheap as fukk.

I rarely get six/seven hours a week, but it could be easily done as a youngen.

Why not as an adult
