shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiid. My local grocery store has Steak and Oxtail on sale. Steak is 7.99/lb, Oxtail is 12.99/lb.
I’m gonna try it again.. my parents make it all the time. they the main reason I don’t like it currently

It's ok but I don't get the specific appeal for it. I'd rather just eat beef, vs having to eat around the bone of oxtail.

They say it's USDA select grade StripLoin...I'm not a huge steak person so I have no idea what that means.
It's the Chinese. They're buying them up by the tons.
I'm really unimpressed by West Indian food in general. Does nothing for me. Oxtail feels like eating scraps to me.

It's amazing what hype and marketing will do. I remember when oxtail was cheap. Now I go to restaurants and it's one of the more expensive meats on the menu.
