There wasn't a stand out DOPE album, but a lot of good music came out this year.

I would say it's between Damn, 4:44 and Laila's Wisdom, even though I fukks heavily with No Dope on Sundays and Krit's shyt. I'm a Hov stan, and that shyt bumped during those summer nights walking back home and being on my introspective shyt, but, Kenny made an album that was on rotation for a lot longer and that shyt still bangs. Rhapsody made a really great album, that is getting the recognition it deserves. shyt was just dope and lowkey (because Roc is trash at promotion)

But, in the end gotta go with Damn, after some thought. Kendrick just made an album of bangers and shyt worked out for everyone.

Shouts to Carti too, cause he made a mixtape of adlibs and even though it pains me to say it, shyt was amazing.
