When I was dating, it was minimum 2yrs older than my current age and no older than 6yrs.
I tried dating someone the same age as me and it didn't work out because dude (who at the time was 24) was still mentally immature as fukk.

24 for younger guys and 32 for older. Don't want them too young- young guys don't know what they want and are just figuring things out- and don't want too old because I still want someone within my generation.
Youngest would be 24 oldest 37
Edit: I'm 32, and I gotta say dating a woman over 25 is refreshing The 1st time I dated a woman that was 35 plus I was 28. It was so good I pretty much screwed it up on purpose. I don't think I've ever been treated so well in a relationship nor had to deal with someone that was so stable in all aspects of there life.
It pretty much was too good and I walked away from it.

Over all it seems like women will date up to 8-9 years older and 3-4 years younger. And men will date up to 5-6 years older down to the legal dating age.

Im 27, so my lower end would be 21(ideally) and my upper end would be 30.
Younger than me and I have a chance to be with someone who still has a sense of wonder and exploration, would could be a wonderful experience.
My age and older and it is likely more someone set in their ways and trying to build themselves up. They are more cloistered, but stable in some ways.
It is more about what part of me a woman excites. A professional girl of my age can pique my interest in stability, while a younger girl may be more
up to exploring cultures and taking road trips to nowhere. Im young enough I would love the best of both worlds.

Grown ass Men would date a 16 year old if they could or if it was the legal drinking age. They think in terms of "is it legal" vs "should I"
