But I do coach people to let cereal sit in a bowl of water overnight the day they want off, then call in from the bathroom on speaker phone and make gagging sounds while pouring the cereal in the toilet.

Anything involving your gf/wife/sister/neighbor whatever having a miscarraige and mfers ask you NO questions cause they are mad uncomfortable.
They don't even ask what it has to do with you.

Back when I still had to work for other people I would use this.

If you really want to be bold, you can use it twice in a row to the same boss... cause they aren't gonna fix their face to say "didn't she just have a miscarraige awhile ago" cause on the off chance you are telling the truth HR is firing the fk outta them.

Works like a charm.
When you show up to work the next day you get a 'glad you're back. hope everyone is doing okay' and zero follow up questions.
