As a standard I'd personally pick 80bpm

I personally rap best in the 80s, lower 90s is right there. To me it's most listenable as the bulk of a project
100-120 is cool but not for a whole project

130-150 to me doesn't offer much variety as far as flow. There's pretty much 2 or 3 ways to get on that tempo

BPM's one of those things that confuse me. It has to do with the 'speed' of the record, right? How fast the beats hit? I'm assuming most East Coast classics were around 80/90 BPM, right? Whereas something like LiveLoveASAP is in the 60 BPM range?

Could be 60 or 120 they basically do the same thing in terms of double time sounding stuff.
