Just a yeast packet and some flour and water, mix up some dough and bake it in a random depressing lump

Eat it with some kfc “buttery spread” out the drawer :to:
:picard:
Damn, that's how literal peasants ate back in the dark ages. They at least had some porridge or bone broth soup to dip it in.

Homemade Yoshinoya beef bowls. Something different and easy to make, ingredients last multiple meals:

What I use for the Dashi (from Amazon). One packet with two cups of water:
Shimaya Awase Dashi Powder (Bonito and Kelp Soup Stock) [English instructions on the back] 1.48 oz (6 gram x 7 packets)

What I use for the Mirin (from Amazon):
Ohsawa Genuine Mirin, Organic Sweet Rice Seasoning Wine for Traditional Japanese Cuisine, Aged over 9 Months for Umami Flavor –Traditionally Handcrafted, Non-GMO, Gluten Free

Links are down but those searches should get you the items.

Tastes very close. Not many calories, but very filling.

Found another easy to make one. I used to make something real similar:
