Breh.... "nuclear power" doesn't mean what you think it means."radiation" doesn't mean what you think it means.
Trust me, nuclear plants are far and away the cleanest and safest form of power available today.

Just wanted to add something to my earlier post in case someone took what I stated as 'facts':
Thorium CAN be used to make WMD's, but it would be PROHIBITIVELY expensive and probably irradiate everything within a square mile and kill all life in the immediate vicinity. Found that out during my Engineering courses.
With that said, it would still be better than using Uranium for the simple fact that it wouldn't allow WMD's to be manufactured by anything less than a Government.
Also, due to the Internet, a cat could create a biological WMD in his basement and there's NOTHING the Government can do about it.

It's harmless steam. Other than it maybe burning your face / lungs, breathing it in wouldn't do any "radiation" damage like you're thinking.
