For us (black people) it means all the plights that we currently have on steroids plus pre-1965 levels of political disenfranchisement.

And if things got worse than that its death squads and militia groups raiding the homes of political dissidents and putting then into unmarked vans.

I guess I’d have to see how the details played out. At some point I’d have to plot my migration to another country if it got too bad. Of the details you mentioned, “too bad” would be them getting so liberal with who they round up that I genuinely feel I could be next.
