Yes and when material conditions get really bad we're going see that all the old political tools to change it no longer exist. And any meaningful protest is met with a tiananmen square style massacre. And it will be justified by all remaining mainstream media outlets because all the other outlets have been purged. That's what a right wing autocracy will look like.

And at that point the only pathway forward will be massive civil disobedience, at worse civil conflct.

Are people really ready for that type of action?

nikkas aren't ready to leave fried foods for special occasions, or not nut in women they don't see ANY future with. The answer is no, it's over, it's been over and the energy change will be palpable the next time the Right takes Congress + White House which could well be by Fall 2024. I plan on no longer residing here by then.
