Mine is around 59. I had a doctors appointment this week and thats what it read. A couple months ago i did my own and it was like 63. Low heart rates for the win. I read you have a lesser chance at mortality with a slow heart rate.
Took an EKG class earlier this year for no reason than just to learn shyt. Mine is like 53-54.
When you have a lower than average resting heart rate (bradycardia) in a otherwise seemingly healthy/fit individual, it means that your heart is pumping blood more efficiently with each pump, therefore your body requires less pumps per minute. The heart is a muscle and just like any muscle with exercise you can train/build the muscle to pump more efficiently.
