TV in the bedroom is a must IMO... watching the news (Both morning and evening) or those nights you can't sleep.
Most nights I go to sleep with the radio on, on this R & B station.
when, I can't sleep, I just go ondemand and find a documentary on the history channel, and I'm knocked out in like 5 minutes

i always had a TV in my room when i was sharing a dorm or apt with other ppl..when i moved into my own place in 08 i put my TV in the living room..thought i was good on having just one TV in the spot until i had a chick over and we were lying in the bed trying to watch a flick on my computer
..i realized then shyt was not the business....shortly after that experience i went out and purchased a TV with some money i won betting on a fight then put the older TV in my room....felt more complete
no cable in the bedroom though...just a DVD/VCR player and my WDTV player..thats all i need in there for now

Currently I have no tv's in my house 
. The kids are more focused on homework, go to sleep earlier, and find other ways to entertain themselves instead of sitting in front of a tv for hours on end.
My fiance wants tv and cable so I'll probably give in and buy a tv for our living room and ur bedroom but no tv in the kid's room.

For many years I had a TV in the bedroom but that's cause I was living in one room places.
Since I moved in to my new place I have a living room and a bedroom. Nothing in the bedroom but a bed and some drawers.
Once I go to sleep I go to sleep so I don't need a TV in the bedroom. If I can't sleep I might go to the living room and watch TV there till I'm tired but I don't feel like I need a TV in my bedroom right now.
Growing up I had a TV in my room but it only had like 2 channels and a sega genesis hooked up.

I grew up with a tv in my bedroom and I have one now even tho I watch tv 85% of the time in the living room. My girl is suppose to be moving in, in a few months and she is against TVs in the bedroom..she better get over that sh!t. My kids will not have a tv in their room.

He's on the road majority of the month and when he's home we catch up on the shows he missed online.
When he's home more often next month then he'll have tv, dvr, cable, and all that extra shyt
