What's your view on Long Distance Relationships?

Been there, done that. Would not do it again. I remember before I had an unlimited cell plan, it was free nights & weekends after 7, I would use ALL my daytime minutes talking to her by the middle of the month sometimes. The time and distance apart was too much to deal with.

I moved out here to get a job after graduating college so that I could build a foundation for our future to be together and get married.
Aka getting my shyt together
3 weeks after the break up I get a call for a job offer.
She couldn't wait 3 more weeks

I'm in a great one. We've done long distance in various cities a few times due to career opportunities. First move was a couple of hours away after graduation, and we still met up every 2 weeks. Then I moved to his city and lived together for a few years. Second one started in early 2013 and is out of state, so less visits, but still fun.
It works for us cause both of us have independent personalities with our own separate hobbies and social life. We've never had trust issues, we are both pretty selective and ethical people, don't do social media, are supportive of the work grind, and the honeymoon period seems to have lasted years.
