I only see that on social media, so I just keep scrolling. I've NEVER EVER heard any black woman say that to me in person.
We all know that Most people won't say how they really feel in person:comeon:....
I would agree.

Black men failed our communities by letting black women wholeheartedly believe they're capable of being leaders of them. The results speak for themselves.
The black man was not the one who did that though...

What is your first reaction to that? Do you gain perspective and understand or Do you highly take offense to this as a Black Man?

I don't give a fukk because I know what I do for others. Move in silence and let your work do what it needs to.

The sleepless city
I think it was a team effort... Black folk were/are too busy trying to keep their individual heads afloat to bother with community issues, throw in constantly battling systemic racism, substance abuse, violence, broken homes.... And its just a sad state of affairs....

Its gonna take some time, but we'll get there....

I’m talking about in a historical context. Black men didn’t just wake up today in this predicament. I’m talking about the black female feminists, and the government sabotaging black men in numerous ways. Black men were doing all that you mentioned in the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. It was all designed to defang and remove the black male from the head of the household way back when and it worked. Accountability should be held yes, but the origin of the problems should be brought up and addressed first.

Black feminists took white liberal women talking points and started shytting on us and now look :francis:

True.

But at this point it’s not even about who’s fault it is.

Who’s gonna fix it?

With single mothers getting carried financially by the government, running the black households, and having complete control over the children (young boys and girls)....How can men fix it?

A large segment of our community is in shambles.

Economically, spiritually, education wise, and physically.

Now we can keep taking about the “how” and “why” until we’re Blue in the face and wait for someone else to fix it.

Or lead...

But a lot of us would just rather follow Black women and white politicians and complain.
This.

All I see is bytching and moaning. I'm tired of it.

Black men have failed their community. I take no offense to that statement, and it forces me to work harder as a diasporan African.

Stop and look around you. We are the least respected by others and by our own women and children.

We need to do better. Fukk protesting and crying on CNN...Fukking begging/demanding Cacs for money and equality.

We live in a capitalistic world. You fight for what is good for you and yours by any means necessary.
