This is how I know I'm getting old, because when I was young, controlling your behavior in public was a sign of manners and consideration for the feelings of other people who may be frightened by your outbursts.


Oh well. The entire concept of manners and giving a fukk about other people seems to be something that's going out of style :manny:

Good luck to all the parents out there. I can't imagine going to pick up my kid from school and an autistic youth is screaming at the top of his lungs in reaction to a sensory overload while the teacher is telling the other students to NOT encourage him to do that shyt somewhere else.

This condition has a unique pattern that each person can be diagnosed with it can have completely different behaviors from the next person with it.

I get what your saying but Autism is uncontrollable.
This condition has a unique pattern that each person can be diagnosed with it can have completely different behaviors from the next person with it.
My heart goes out to those who have tried and can't control it.

There are people who can, and it's being framed as something they shouldn't do by some people.
