Maybe your fellow coli brehs are accurate in their inferences, here, OP.

If it makes you feel any better, my very first boyfriend said some iteration of all three to me decades ago, and that relationship did not work out.

Perhaps the intention behind these words is not gender-specific after all.

:jbhmm: Y'know, I could see a situation where a guy says this. Were you 'above' him in some way? Holding out on the p? :usure:

She’s either fukking someone or strongly considering fukking someone else and trying to rationalize her way out of dealing with you.

It’s not that she thinks you’re better, she just doesn’t want to put aside her toxic ways to receive what you are trying to give her.
Just because she prefers someone else doesn't make her toxic. People are allowed to move on.

She should be wanting to make YOU her man, not the other way around. It gives them the “ick” when you chase, ask for a relationship. Women want to “conquer” the man. You’re suppose to be the restaurant / self contained, grounded, self-assured, not over chasing.

You were probably “too nice” / lack masculinity / edge / tension / less of a challenge in comparison to whoever else she’s about to or dealing with.
It should be mutual

In all honesty, ask her to explain what she means IN DETAIL about those responses and go from there. Make her use her words

Hell nah OP don’t do this shyt. It best to immediately after she say that agree and disappear. Guarantee it will turn the tables and have her doubting her feelings because guys don’t do that. They try and fight for it and women aren’t use to a dude saying “thanks I was thinking the same thing :blessed:“ and immediately falling off the face of the earth.

Don’t argue, fight, plead, convince or any of tha bullshyt that make you look like a sucka

You won’t ever get a straight answer and she will spit a bunch of bullshyt at you to soothe your pride. The only thing that matters is ACTIONS and I’m sure by the time she’s telling you some bullshyt like this her actions have already started/been showing that you not the one.

If it ain’t a hell yes it’s a NO. In my 20+ years of dealings any time a woman said those phrases to me she was still emotionally stuck on another guy.

Any time a woman start acting funny and she’s not your LADY the answer is always do nothing.
