When and what made you start to take life seriously?

Had a mini intervention for one of the brehs in our crew from college.

Dope and smart dude, 31, solid guy character-wise. But breh can't shake his inner child. Maturity-wise still has a pleasure-first mindset, same habits he had in college he can't shake. Can't take responsibility or accountability for longer than a few months. Could be mental health, could be fear/anxiety, idk but it's hard seeing him piss away every opportunity.

he asked what made me get my shyt together but I can't remember the turning point fr.

I think it was getting 2 dui's in 6-months. What was yours?

Being surrounded by people who have “it”, and are constantly trying to improve. It’s contagious. It makes things real. When you don’t have people around you winning it makes earning riches seem unattainable. When you see it happen in front of you it gives you that realization.
