When (and why... *HOW* SWAY?!) did robocalls get so bad?

I was just in Walgreens a while ago and the cover of a magazine really got me pondering.... cuz I know *I* been dealing with a lot of bullshyt ass calls, but for a while I thought it was just me. Then I'd see people post about it on social media and the response would take me back a little :ohh: So to see it in the magazines (I think Last Week Tonight did piece on it too) it's like damn... how did we even get here?

Robocalls gotta be the most throwback... 199X... "extreme" Mountain Dew commercial lookin... Actually eat INSIDE Pizza Hut face ass... AOL free trial disc finessin' ass... Heyyyyy Macarena-- aye! type shyt to make it in to what's damn near the '20s I don't get it

A robocall is a scammers bait.

Only a fool would take the bait and thats who the scammers are waiting on...the fools.

Sadly Robocalls wont stop. You will keep getting them. Just deal with that reality and hang up.
