do you tailor the cover letter and resume to match the job, or you have 1 copy of your resume and cover letter and just switch the name of the company?

i've applied to 5 jobs in the last 2 weeks, and i haven't gotten even a call back. I meet the qualifications but still nothing. My resume is solid and my cover letter has been edited by so many people.

I'm getting more desperate and depressed cause I hate my job and can't wait to get the fukk out.

yeah i just switch the names other and make it match as close as i can

sometimes. tailor it to leave out certain job history info that is irrelevant. And elsewhere..add a few tasks and skills that seem to be important to the new job.

try getting some extra training, certification might help

Depends on the company. I always try to tailor my cover letter specifically for the position, but some larger companies i send a generic
