It has to be powered from the wall and the TV has to be on a particular input so it being wireless is meaningless. Also would introduce lag.

You still have to plug it into an outlet to charge, and I'm pretty sure these things have all kinds of wires inside them. We need that 100% wire-free love. On some emperor palpatine from star wars wireless electricity.
