I've been saying thatthe guy is frail defensively yet melo gets killed ? His team just surrounded him with a bunch of good defensive pieces so he's allowed to slack

Almost 7 foot player playing (out of position) on the perimeter with a 20.4% DRR is hard to hold accountable. what he does suck at is his laziness when contesting perimeter shots he needs to be held accountable for that. his interior defense is great.

He's an elite rebounder and averages 4 APG despite playing primarily off the ball and with one of the most ball dominant players in the league in westbrook
And he's been DOMINANT in the playoffs. Last year

Breh KD ain't a great defender, but he's still >>> Melo. I'd say KD is an average defender, but Melo's below average on defense on a GOOD day. KD gets a "pass" b/c he's having a historic season & is poised to take OKC back to the Finals
