where did you hear this? every damn summer there are rumors Calipari is going to coach the knicks, Calipari is gonna coach the lakers, calipari will only leave to coach bron. It never came close to happening, Cal wouldn't leave after recruiting 5 players to come play for us this year

What does declining it last minute mean? Did he accept it then decline at the last minute? Or did he just decline, but not immediately. It's just the way people word stuff make it seem like he was GOING to accept it, then had a change of heart, which I don't think is what happened.
