A grim reminder of the horrifyingly divided world we live in. A black man has to hide his heritage to prosper when the white man doesn't even have to even consider such a course of action.

I swear if they don't stop saying there's no privilege :smugcacmayne:

:leon: how are they doing??? No one asks who owns the establishments???
It's all online. No one see's anything but my very generic store names for my ecommence businesses. Other businesses I own I have to make calls occasionally so it's whatever but we're already in business by that point.

I even changed my email outgoing from First Name Last Name to First Name Initial because I have the one of blackest last names in America.

You can't be pro black when it comes to money, it will never pay off. 5x white people in America, simple math.

Out here in my damn drawls
:wtf: please elaborate more breh...

I'm not going to say much but basically..

I started a mobile marketing/advertising company months back. In order to get businesses to hire me, I had to go out and offer my services. I racked up agreements from 4 local restaurants, a hardware store, a flower shop and a vape shop (:pachaha:), but I got strong :mjpls: vibes from alot of places, especially this one in particular

Anyways, I hired this girl last week (my first actual employee) and I had her contact and meet with businesses and I sent her back to some places I had been before. That brewery that I went to that was all rude and flippant before are now going to be paying me for services that they were sure they didn't want only a couple months ago.

I was just going to make a thread in the root to talk about this experience and my little strategy but this thread popped up in the suggestions :smugbiden:
