sales is all about manipulation

i got this social media hustle that started slapping, but i'm not apologetic about being black even though I experience everything the guy was talking about..

White custos would always try to ask me questions about what I was doing trying to see if they could figure out some shyt lol lot of them were salty they had to come to a nikka to get something done they couldn't get anywhere else and some didn't give fukk at all, and nikkaz would also try to get me to train them to basically give my hustle to them lol

I don't give a shyt, if you have a service or product that's undeniable can't nobody stop you.

In the Silver Lining
It also stated that a majority (55%) of black households making 50k or more actually would support Black business...

Be a glass half empty breh

If true, pretty sad how low that is for that income group........need to expand into Africa.

Had a business professor (not my educational field) at an HBCU explain the same thing, and this was some venture he had back in the late 80s/early 90s. He had some kind of real estate hustle. It was legal, but being that he was a light brown skinned African American it was going to be difficult to do this plan successfully, especially in rich neighborhoods in SoCal. So he hired an attorney, white and slight druggie, to act as the lead. Plus, a lawyer was needed to sign some documents. Long story short, they were successful as a team, he made the amount he wanted and got out.

This a good and important thread, I'm curious what Boyce would say about this...:jbhmm:

The product/service should be about the product/service ...not the business owners race

I didn't even know 5 hour Energys founder was indian... it doesn't matter

There's other motives to hide true ownership .... ie it makes it easier to monitor employees
when they think you are "one of them"

Then again an efficient hiring process should fix that

A good black business in a predominantly black area will have customers..
No they wont. People literally avoid black owned businesses unless they have to go. But I've seen a few that if the product is top notch, they do slam. Or do very well. Mostly restaurants though. My family still only hire Mexicans to do any work on the building they own smh.

The evidence is throughout history...every time blacks attempt group capitalism, it is restrictive due to white interference...if not, it fails...the only time black capitalism has survived for long periods is if its individual so that blacks are not allowed to build a solid agency base...people who don't see this by now are sorely lost in this systemic hegemony...it doesn't work because the capitalist system, built on racist slave labor, is made to work like that.

Your Ayn Rand libertarian viewpoints do not work for black people.

Read these books.

There is no evidence to support yoru stance that capitalism by blacks doesn't work. White force and interference isn't evidence of capitalism failing, its evidence that black capitalism works so well that those who would see us as a threat seek to destroy it because it shows our power. So again from a basic look at what you are writing, it is clear you don't know much about what capitalism is, and you don't understand how coercion and government interference isn't a sign of capitalism but of socialism (economic grouping, not democratic socialism or political label)

Capitalism isn't built on slavery anymore than communism is built on slavery or socialism is built on the backs of societal sub-classes, and in other threads I've clearly explained why.

Ayn Rand isn't/wasn't a libertarian. She was proudly an Objectivist and didn't like Libertarians like Murray Rothbard, again learn what you are discussing before trying to critique.
Also black history in US shows counter to what you argue, capitalism had the whites in America scared of us and working over time to try to break our economic base by outright force and subterfuge with bullshyt like forced integration.
They did not want us to be able to cope without them.

Again I would suggest anyone who wants to look at the documented history of blacks engaging and suceeding in capitalism in the US, please read
Walter Williams Race and Economics.

Also I've heard good things about Dr. Juliet E. K. Walker's book The History of Black Business in America
She supposedly destroys a great deal of the BS people like Don Draper and white supremacists like to claim about us. She documents blacks being economically successful during slavery and after slavery, yet how the US government, not capitalism, but hte US government either subsidzes white or non-black business at the detriment of blacks or took direct action like a great deal of the union laws and labor laws to kick blacks out the market all together.

I'm goign to try to check the book out and scan it or buy it and scan it and upload it hopefully sometime this year, because seems like it is something people need to know about, but only libraries have the book and there are no eformats aviablable.

I'm staying out of this conversation. This won't end well. I will say this: white people don't want to see black people come up in business because then we're a real threat to white supremacy. It's subconscious thing. They view black products as inferior to their own. I deal with racism as a cook all the time. I cook Italian perfectly, if you ask me, but of course Italians hate to see a mooley cooking the fukk out of their food. So I'm in the back of house where they don't know it's me until I come out in my full chef uniform talking that shyt. Their jaw drops. I'm a young black nikka too. Long hair. Dark skin. fukk smiling.
This is me all day. Pride pick. German sports car. Crackers hate my car because it's too nice for a nikka to drive. They tell me I shouldn't have it a lot. Its 15 years old. Lol I can afford this car. fukk outta here!

I know exactly what Capitalism is. Capitalism is defined by its steep inequality, meaning that the small population at the top seeks to make the most profit possible from the cheapest labor cost possible from the large masses; That means paying as little as possible to the masses; then when mix in global and national economic markers like GDP, CPI, etc., producers (capitalists) decide to raise the cost of living based on those measures but keep wages for their workers down...therefore, crime is created out of a necessity to fight the results of capitalism and they bytch ass police are only created in history to protect private property and serve the rich (to protect and serve)...that's the only reason they were created: keep the masses poor and segregated from the small rich class so they do infiltrate that group and upset the balance between owner/labor force....anybody that argues that capitalism is not that is a pro-capitalist apologist and a fool; its foundational...constitutive; its the major reason behind the oppression and genocide for every marginalized group throughout history, especially Blacks and Native Americans. Educational systems in this country teach students from preschool to be competitive and that those who don't work hard in America don't deserve to survive in capitalism, which is not true...so how can anyone argue pro-capitalist and not accept that it is the major catalyst for crime, racialised oppression, etc. if they know history and economics? They can't and they only argue pro-capitalist because they are greedy fukks that got mindfukked by the American system of lies..

The majority black population in America is working class and the president's job is to maintain capitalism and restructure it if necessary; If he/she improves the socioeconomic viability of the black working class, he will shut down capitalism and a crisis would ensue. This is all documented in Du Bois' Black Reconstruction as this almost happened when Andrew Johnson left office and the capitalist system during Reconstruction was almost toppled for various reasons. The only thing that saved it was that the President ended reconstruction with the help of northern capitalists, took the union troops out of the south, had black local officials assassinated, took the land away from the freedmen, and established sharecropping and convict lease system, which transformed capitalism but kept it based on racial oppression.

AGAIN! Capitalism is capitalism regardless of skin color; no one wins but a very small percentage of the race; the rest of us will continue to be exploited and oppressed; dudes are really hustling backwards talking that capitalism bullshyt; all it does is feed the pockets of white banks and corporations; its a lose/lose situation for the black masses; those that know the history of Black capitalism are shaking their heads at movements like these. At the most, if all blacks supported black businesses (which we did before), the biggest percentage that capitalism would allow to be successful business owners is under percent; When the shyt got too big, the political economy of the 1940s and 1950s shut that shyt down by redlining, and we were back to square one; Then we tried it again in the 1970s and AGAIN, the shifting political economy and Reaganism shut that shyt down. Like I said, keep dreaming on capitalism and its gonna get shut down AGAIN.

This article is true but Idgaf. Yelp is coming by my office for a video shoot and the people are going to know my colleagues and my face. If they don't want to break bread because of my melanin then they can kick rocks because somebody will see the value in working with me and be in a prosperous position after doing business with my company.

An employee is a cost of doing business. If the employee doesn't generate more income than they cost, that employee is going to get fired or the business is going to go broke. If you’re the employee, the outcome is the same. Businesses exist to maximize the owner’s equity. It says so in the economics textbooks. It’s a fact.

This is Capitalism.

Why on earth would any black person want to be associated with that kind of thinking?

Kind of fukked up that this is happening in 2016. My girls old man came up from Mississippi to Chicago mid century and started a few successful businesses, mainly furniture stores.

He had to hire whites to sell furniture because cacs would see or find out he was the owner and flat out walk / be like fukk shopping there. This man hates whites white a passion as a result of his business and personal interactions with em, first thing he asked me when I met him was did I associate with white people or have any in my family. Told him nah, he was like :ehh: keep it that way

On a side note, this man is basically black excellence personified adopted a bunch of kids and put em on, put on a bunch of nikkas with felonies and everything else. On top of other shyt
