What piece of mind do you get knowing American dealerships are going to fix one thing and break something else, especially during your "Warranty" period so you keep coming back and keep their techs working.
I don't know about you but my American dealership places got paid directly from the head companies. Every service hour their techs logged, every thing that was fixed, adjusted, replaced when up the chain of command and their paychecks came back down. Not based on what you pay, not based on how many cars were sold. Everyone they tell you "come in at 60k" "come back in 3000 mi" that's the system. You are a hamster for the big companies, you are their research. They know when their transmissions start to fail because the majority of their owners or drivers start to take them in.
That's fine and well but don't think you aren't scratching their backs. They aren't going to fix something and make sure you're good to go, you'll be back for something, even if it's nothing.
There's absolutely no peace of mind. And they admittedly rape you.
